Detailed monthly reports are available via the portal, which means our customers can access them anytime, anywhere. Our portal optimises the presentation of your network information to bring urgent priority issues to your attention without having to digest cumbersome lengthy reports.

RED Technologies uses the Before U Dig underground asset automated service.
beforeUdig provides an efficient online service to assist contractors in determining the presence of underground assets in and around any proposed work site; helping to protect people, communities and utility providers valuable assets during the works.
The beforeUdig service aims to:-

To ensure that our service is easily accessible by all involved in any form of excavation-utilities, telcos, builders, contractors, plumbers, developers, landscapers and home owners.
When a contractor uses the online service, the beforeUdig system automatically contacts each registered asset owner on their behalf, saving both time and money. Contractors only need to make a single request and the beforeUdig system will do the rest. Automation software within the utility allows them to evaluate and control the response to contractors more economically than current manual practices, putting the necessary information in the hands of those who need it faster.
The beforeUdig service model has been developed and enhanced over the past 15 years from global beforeUdig services in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
Notification of Commencement of Earthworks
There is a requirement for Utilities to send a representative to new construction sites, on-net, to advise where the network is located and be a point of liaison throughout the project. RED Technologies has an entire team to undertake this role. This process is assisted by the software NCE Online. This gives our clients full visibility of the construction activity on the network and assists in identifying areas of risk.
Network Patrol and Audits
RED has a team of site inspectors, with a fleet of vehicles, to undertake regular network inspections. All of this is recorded and saved on our proprietary software. Regular patrol is an important network uptime risk control factor by ensuring there is no unauthorized construction activity on the network as well as checking its condition.

Documentation And Data Storage
On completion of all projects RED Technologies deliver comprehensive handover documentation detailing all aspects of the fibre network. Many customers have adopted our documentation as the standards they require on all future projects throughout their business. We truly believe it is second to none.
Managing a fibre network and maintaining the network documentation is a difficult and time consuming task. Companies regularly lose important information through hardware failure, key staff members leaving the corporation and human error. Our stringent processes ensure that your network information is kept up to date even as the network grows.
Our documentation management service is supported by three levels of hardware redundancy that ensures your information is backed up and never goes missing. In addition to redundant servers we offer a hard tape backup service.
Emergency Call Out
In the event of an outage the necessary resources must be deployed to correct the fault as quickly as possible. RED Technologies provides 24 x 7 on-call standby services to be on site for Emergency Evaluation within an agreed time scale. After diagnosing the problem, Specialist Fibre Optic and Civil Engineering repair teams are on standby to undertake repairs to restore the network service.
